Baggy Eyelids

Eyelid Reduction (blepharoplasty)

The ageing damages the eyelids in two ways.
The skin of the eyelids will age and loosen as a result of exposure to UV light, smoking and some general illnesses such as eczema. The result is droopy upper eyelid to the extent that it might affect the visual field. On the lower eyelid it creates puffy eyelid bags with crow’s feet.

The treatment for this condition is mainly surgical.
This includes upper and lower eyelid reduction (blepharoplasty). However, in some circumstances, treatment with Botulinum A injection or rarely fillers and lasers can help.
